CMO Mkg informs FBOs

In view of the directive by the commissioner of food safety to all the food business operators (FBOs) to obtain/convert the license under 2nd schedule of Food Safety & Standard Act, 2006 (FSSA) to Food Safety License/Registration on or before September 30, 2013, the chief medical officer (CMO) Mokokchung has informed all the  food business operators  under Mokokchung district to obtain the FSSA license/registration on or before November 30 from the chief medical officer Mokokchung.
CMO Mokokchung has cautioned anyone failing to obtain license/registration would be penalized under the Section 63 of Food Safety & Standard Act, 2006.
