Trichy: The commercial department of the Trichy railway division, in association with the health department, conducted a training programme here on Thursday for food and beverage vendors and license holders who are running food stalls on the premises of the Trichy Junction railway station on maintaining quality and hygiene in food products.
According to officials, there are around 70 licence holders in the station and more than 200 vendors have been engaged with each licensee. The chief aim for holding the training was to give a clear picture of what they are and what they really should be, officials said.
