Tests done by approved NABL accredited labs

The Hon'ble High Court of Bombay mandated three NABL accredited labs to test five samples of each variant of MAGGI noodles for lead. 100% of these samples cleared these tests as lead was found to be well below permissible limits. Please click on the image below for the test results.

We tested more 2700 product samples of MAGGI noodles including 1100 samples at independent accredited labs in India and abroad (Singapore, UK, Italy and Germany). These tests have found lead levels to be within the food safety limits specified by the Indian authorities as shown in the graph below.

Moreover, food standards authorities in USA, Canada, UK, Singapore, Australia & New Zealand have all tested samples of MAGGI noodles and confirmed that they are safe to eat

  1. Sampling, testing and taking action on the test results is a routine job of FSOs. Whole Maggi issue is blown out of proportions by FSDA, FSSAI, media, courts, industry and public at large. Suppose if samples fail in their routine test, take action on the concerned lot no. and don't make applicable to all lots of the product.
