The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) organised a workshop on the Food Safety and ISO-22000-2005 here on Saturday as part of its observance of the Entrepreneurs’ Week. MSME Secretary Panchanan Dash attended the event as chief guest. Director of the Institute of Quality and Environment Management Services Subrata Panigrahi gave a presentation on the Food Safety Management System and ISO 22000:2005.
OUAT Dean Dr Khalid Khan spoke on the issues and concerns of farm products in preservation, logistics and storage. UCCI Food Processing and Agriculture Panel chairman S Acharya moderated the seminar while cochairman Rajiv Karnany gave a vote of thanks.
