FoodSafetyHelpline.com has released their Food Safety Helpline mobile app for Food Business owners to allow them to have any information that complies to Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The app allows food business operators to get information, learn standards and implement them in their food business setup.
Food Safety Helpline app not only gives information on safety and standards but also allows food business owners to do self-inspection and learn if they are violating any of the standards under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. With the Food Safety Inspection tool, you can do audit via the mobile phone, generate reports, flexibility of doing audits at any suitable time, cover multiple locations of your food business, identify any gaps in your system and take corrective measures.
The app also gives you latest updates and notifications related to new or updated FSSAI regulations via the Articles section. The Webinar section provides you visual information via videos on various important topics. The app is also loaded with relevant help sections to help you learn how and why to do inspections.
The app is currently available for Android devices for free from Google Play Store. To use the app, you are required to sign-up using your email address, Facebook or Google+. If you are signing up using email address you will be required to enter FSSAI License No. for your food business to complete registration. If you sign-in using social network (Facebook or Google+) you will be able to use only informational sections. To access Inspection and Reports section you will be asked to complete your profile by providing FSSAI License Number.
