Drug and Food Control Organization in association with Beopar Mandal Akhnoor organized an awareness programme on Food Safety and Standard Act 2006.
The programme was attended by members of Karyana Union, Vegetable and fruit, Halwai, Dabha and others.
The said programme was organized on the directions of Satish Gupta, Controller Drug and Food Control organization Jammu.
In the programme, Sanjeev Kumar, ACF (HQ), Madan Lal Magotra, ACF (district Jammu), Subash Chander FSO Akhnoor gave brief account on the subject and exhorted upon them to obtain licence/registration before February 4, 2014.
They also told them to maintain sanitary and hygiene condition as per provision laid down under the aforesaid Act.
