CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM) has welcomed the Food Standard and Safety Authority of India's decision to renew the date of food licence from August 4 to February 4.
Charanjiv Singh, president, CBM, an apex body of traders, expressed their gratitude to health minister Harsh Vardhan for extending the date by six months.
The Food Standard and Safety Act Coordination Committee of the CBM had held a meeting a few days back and a letter was sent to Harsh Vardhan.
