In Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram, a total number of 3,525 shops and restaurants have been issued licenses under the Food and Drugs Standard Act, 2006.As per the order issued by Food Safety & Standards Authority, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, all shops and restaurants selling food and food products are to be registered for licenses before the 4th of this month.
