Collector T.Munusamy visiting the students of Sembodai Backward Classes and Minorities Hostel admitted to Vedaranyam GH for food poisoning on Monday
Seven students of a backward classes hostel here in Vedaranyam were admitted for food poisoning after having the food served in the hostel on Monday night. The students of Sembodai Backward classes and minorities hostel developed nausea and vomiting after having food that was found to have a dead lizard.
The boys were immediately rushed to Vedaranyam Government Hospital. They were later discharged by forenoon on Tuesday.
Collector T. Munusamy visited the students around midnight on Monday.
