Food Safety Department personnel conducted surprise check in a shop in the new bus stand in the town on Friday and seized expired food products. The raid was conducted on the direction of Collector Darez Ahamed following the receipt of a complaint. A team of officials led by Pushparaj, district designated officer, conducted the check and seized the goods. The shopkeepers were advised to keep food products in a hygienic condition.
