TÜV SÜD, Assocham to host meet on food safety

PUNE: TUV SUD in collaboration with industry body Assocham, is organizing a summit, 'Safe Future Now,' on food safety in Gurgaon on September 5. The summit will bring together market leaders and regulators on the same platform to discuss, learn and exchange experiences and insights on food safety along the value chain. 
'Safe Future Now' on food safety, is a day-long event that involves panel discussions and expert presentations on the topical issues to discover a collaborative approach for a sustainable future. 
The summit on food safety aims to incite discussions that help develop a sustainable road map to overcome the safety challenges in the Indian food industry. It will provide a platform for businesses to address pertinent issues and discuss factors that will help them attain a competitive edge to grow their market share. 
Niranjan Nadkarni, chief executive officer, TUV SUD South Asia, said, "Safe Future Now is a global annual property of TUV SUD.
