Zomato has said it has "already applied for a licence for...operations in Dehradun" and other cities. This comes after the FSSAI asked Zomato to get a food safety licence to continue its operations.
The FSSAI, citing Section 31 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, said no person or firm can carry out food business without a licence.
