Modern World wants Huge results and are least bothered about the path to attain this result. This leads to adverse effects on humans.Humans have lost humanity and fellow feeling.They are ready to kill anybody for the sake of result and hence earn money.The food that we eat today is equal to poison.For increasing production and to protect the crops from pests, wide varieties of pesticides and chemicals are applied on crops.These chemicals enters the human body through food and kills us silently.
Recently a tonne of mangoes were caught from Karipur Airport,Calicut containing carbide packs.
Each box of mangoes contained two or three packs of carbide.This contains acetylene gas which causes the mangoes to ripe. Acetylene gas is used to weld iron and its shocking that this is used in the mangoes to be exported.It is highly carcinogenic. The use of artificial ripening agents was banned in India by the Food safety and standards Act,2006 as it leads to cancer.
The department of food and safety took samples of these mangoes and burnt the rest of it.Due to the presence of calcium carbide the mangoes just exploded like a bomb.
These mangoes containing calcium carbide are exported to gulf countries.This can lead to various health problems and can even lead to cancer.
