Bakers Association Kerala (Bake) will support any move by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to detect animal fat in bakery products.
A statement issued by Bake president P.M.Sankaran said the organisation had been involved in a campaign against abominable practices in the food sector.
He said bakers were encouraged to use margarine and other products which had no animal fat.
